The Cleantech Camp training program moves to the virtual week in Barcelona

After completing the training sessions for the 5th Cleantech Camp in Lisbon, the program moved virtually to Barcelona. Over the course of a week, the participants were able to complete an intense schedule of activities, consisting of several Masterclasses, a workshop, and a new session for the preparation of pilots. In all these conferences, essential aspects for the development of business ideas were addressed from different perspectives.

The Barcelona week began on October 26, with the welcome to the program led by our local partner, Barcelona Activa. The same day in the afternoon, the entrepreneurs were able to attend the first Masterclass, which was focused on the preparation of the Financial Plan for the different projects, by Nuno Couceiro, CEO of CPWM.

Pau Barbarà, ESADE BAN & Entrepreneurship Manager gave a session aimed at obtaining private funds. A Masterclass dedicated to access to public funds was also held, in this case, by Laura Sisó, COO and co-founder of Bridge the Gap, knowledge partner of the program, in which entrepreneurs were able to meet some of the entities that offer this type of funding and the mechanisms required to prepare applications.

On October 29, the participants in the program were able to attend a session on legal regulations, offered by Sara Barona, a lawyer for Osborne Clarke, also a knowledge partner of the program. In this Masterclass, key legal aspects in an investment process and the best formulas to establish agreements between partners within a startup were discussed.

Mónica Galán, a communication expert, gave a session on methodologies to make presentations capable of impacting, a fundamental aspect when it comes to attracting the attention of potential investors. To complete the intense schedule of activities on Thursday, the entrepreneurs were able to attend a Masterclass in the evening, given by the B2B expert, Óscar Torres, director of the B2B management program at ESADE, which discussed the growth strategies that should follow companies focused on B2B.

On the other hand, the workshop of the week in Barcelona was focused on the preparation of business models, which was guided by Stewart Noakes, founder of Canopy

During the second training week, after the start-ups had made their pilot proposals in Lisbon, the participants continued to refine their projects, with a new guided session.
