We will select up to 15 projects that will opt to cash prizes and possible pilot financing, valued at more than 150,000 euros.

From InnoEnergy, Naturgy, Enagás, CRH, Prio, Barcelona Activa and the Municipal Chamber of Lisbon we promote the 5th edition of Cleantech Camp, our acceleration program with an international focus oriented towards startups or business ideas in the initial phases, that focus on clean energy.  This month we have opened the call, which we will close at the end of February, to receive candidacies from European entrepreneurs, among which up to 15 projects will be chosen, which will participate in Cleantech Camp 2020.

The proposals chosen will follow an acceleration program in Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon that will take place from March to June, and that will combine training sessions, specialized workshops for the development of projects and networking meetings, led by different experts. Cleantech Camp also has the collaboration of companies such as Osborne Clarke, ZBM Patents and Ateknea Solutions, which will provide training sessions to entrepreneurs.

Financing for acceleration and promotion of pilots

One of the main objectives of Cleantech Camp is to promote open innovation with the participating start-ups, to generate an ecosystem of knowledge exchange, which benefits both large companies and companies in the development phase. In this sense, the selected emerging projects will aim at allocations destined for their acceleration of 20,000 euros for the winner, and 5,000 euros for the second and third prizewinners.  In this year’s edition, Cleantech Camp gives special importance to the design of pilots. To do this, entrepreneurs must develop a pre-project for a possible pilot, following the challenges and needs that the companies that lead the program will launch. Once the initial structure is presented, we will decide if we access the financing of up to four pilots with contributions that could reach 120,000 euros.
