The call to receive projects that want to participate in the program will be open from January 23 to February 24.

From InnoEnergy, Naturgy, Enagás, Barcelona Activa and CEiiA we have opened the 4th call of Cleantech Camp, the acceleration program for the start-ups and companies in the initial phase, which they undertake in the clean energy sector. We pursue ideas to make a selection of a maximum of 15 projects, which promote efficient energy consumption, the application of sustainable energies, the energy transition and digitization in the field of energy. Cleantech Camp looks for digital projects with an industrial vocation focused on energy efficiency and that make possible the energy transition towards renewable energies, distributed generation empowering the consumer, whose application is developed from new technologies such as the block chain, the use of the big data and artificial intelligence. This year we are looking for projects in biogas, biomethane, hydrogen and Smart Factory, in addition to other topics like energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, smart grids, smart & sustainable cities or renewable energies.

The selected projects will follow a training program in Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Oporto for several weeks, that will have the participation of ESADE as a training partner and will combine training sessions, specialized workshops for the development of projects or network meetings, directed by different experts. In addition, the projects will have access to the incubation space of Barcelona Activa, InnovaHub of Naturgy, Enagás FAB, Enagás Venture Center of Madrid and CEiiA facilities in Porto.

Naturgy and Enagás, as global partners of the program, launch new challenges.

Naturgy seeks solutions in the following areas:

– Artificial Intelligence applied to the client.

– Combined renewable and renewable electric gas solutions.   

It also seeks new business models in:

– Sustainable mobility.

 – Batteries and self-consumption.

Enagás seeks solutions and new business models:

– For sustainable mobility in NGV.

– Of renewable gas (biogas-biomethane).

– Power2Gas and renewable hydrogen generation.

– Storage solutions, regasification and transportation of natural gas and other renewable gases.

Among all the projects participating in the program will be selected, in the month of June, the three with the greatest potential, which will receive economic points of 20,000, 10,000 and 5,000 euros respectively. In addition, they will obtain another contributions in species to promote their growth and consolidation, a burden of the different collaborators of the program. As the main novelty in this year’s edition, the selected start-ups must present a commercial pilot of their project. The jury of Cleantech Camp will select three pilots that will be co-financed by the program and will be developed with Naturgy, Enagás and CEiiA.

Promote Open Innovation

Cleantech Camp is promoted by InnoEnergy, Naturgy, Enagás (through Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Program, Enagás Emprende) and Barcelona Activa and has the collaboration with the Portuguese research centre CEiiA and the companies Ateknea, ZBM and Osborne, which act as Knowledge Partners, providing the program with their knowledge in legal areas, regulations or public financing. The program has a clear vocation to promote open innovation between the leading companies and the participating start-ups, to generate a knowledge exchange system that benefits both large companies and emerging projects.
